ABOUT GINA

Hi guys, my name is Gina. I am the creator, owner, and driving force behind Gina’s Gems Reusable Designer Pasties. How did I get here?

It all began in the spring of 2001. My sister and I had been invited to a Playboy Mansion themed party and we needed costumes. Not just any costumes, we wanted to stand out. We wanted our look to be original. So I turned to the creative skills I further developed while earning my art degree at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and what followed became more than a solution.  I designed us both a pair of Playboy bunny nipple covers using jewels, gems, and glitter to make our look one of a kind. The positive responses we received at the party were overwhelming, and it was then that I knew I was truly onto something.    

These early designs went over so well that I was inspired to create a business around my passion. I began wearing my Gems to different parties, festivals, or other events and as my creativity flourished, so did the demand for my custom creations. After a year of trial and error using different techniques and materials, the end result was a high quality, functional, reusable pastie design that I felt confident in and was genuinely proud of.    

And so began Gina's Gems. Located in Key West, Florida, I was right in the middle of events like Fantasy Fest where I was able to sell directly to such a responsive market. At every event, a constant flow of people crowded my booth where I displayed, sold, and demonstrated how to apply and reuse my pasties. To date, I have sold hundreds of sets of my designer pasties to satisfied customers in search of a sexy final touch for their look. My goal is to design pasties that will have heads turning and leave my customers feeling their absolute best when they wear my Gina’s Gems Reusable Designer Pasties.
